Singer was born on November 26, 1986 at Santa Monica California. She is the daughter of her dad Vincenzo and her maternal grandmother Valerie Barba. The family relocated from New Jersey's Point Pleasant to Jersey when she was six. Her education was completed at Red Bank Catholic High School, New Jersey. She continued her education in Catholic University where she earned the degree of bachelor of architecture. The violin was first played at age 4 and she was known as Violin Girl. It was because of her talent that she went by the name Violin Girl. She also taught kids from the area on how to play the violin. In the year 19, she enrolled in the sixth American Idol season and performed in the only Free, 1976. But she was eliminated following finishing 16th in the competition.
