Anne Curtis
Anne Curtis Smith (Filipino-Australian) is an actor, TV presenter, recording artist and entrepreneur. Her achievements have been numerous over the course of her professional career. In addition, she was recognized twice in the Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis played in numerous TV shows including Hiram Campanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino ka Man Dyosa (2009) Green Rose (2009) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003). Mars Ravelos Dyesebel featured her as the Komiks iconic character Dyesebel. In addition, she was a host on the popular noontime variety show, It's showtime (2009-2020). Anne Curtis born 17 February 1985, is a Filipina-Australian actor host, model and entrepreneur as well as recording artist. She has received numerous accolades over the course of her career, including the two FAMAS Awards a Luna Award two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards and five PMPC Star Awards for Television. In addition, she was recognized twice in the Gawad Urian Awards and 8 PMPC Star Awards in the Films. Curtis has appeared in a number of TV shows, including Hiram (2004-2005) Kampanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino Dyosa (2008) Green Rose (2011) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2013). The year 2014 saw her played the Komiks icon Dyesebel as part of Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. The show also featured her as host on the afternoon (2009-2010) Curtis is the daughter of Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina originally from Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith, an Australian attorney. She was born at Yarrawonga in Victoria, Australia. The father of her mother was married to Ojales by 1982. The older sister Jasmine has also become an actor. Clare passed away from an illness of the heart in 2007, when she was only four months old.
